Position Overview:
As a Veterinarian for the Dhampur Green Pet Project initiative, you will provide essential medical care and support. Your expertise will help ensure their health and well-being while fostering a culture of responsible pet ownership within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct health assessments and provide medical treatment to pets.
Perform spay/neuter surgeries to help manage the their population.
Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
Collaborate with shelter staff to create health and rehabilitation plans for pets.
Educate potential adopters and the community about pet care and welfare.
Maintain accurate medical records and reports for all pet animals.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in India.
Experience in shelter medicine or working with pets is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
