Job Description

Key responsibilities :

Inspections:

Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to identify signs of pests, including insects, rodents, and other animals.

Treatment:

Applying pesticides, baits, traps, and other control measures to eliminate pests.

Barrier Creation:

Creating barriers to prevent pests from re-entering infested areas.

Education and Advice:

Providing customers with information on pest identification, prevention strategies, and effective control methods.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of inspections, treatments, and customer interactions.

Safety:

Ensuring the safety of themselves, customers, and the environment when using pesticides and other chemicals.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with customers to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and address concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Stamina:

The ability to stand for long periods, move around, and work in various weather conditions.

Detail-Oriented:

Paying close attention to detail when inspecting for pests and applying treatments.

Bookkeeping:

Maintaining accurate records of inspections, treatments, and expenses.

Communication:

Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues.

Knowledge of Pests:

Familiarity with common pest species, their life cycles, and habits.

Understanding of Pesticides:

Knowledge of different types of pesticides, their uses, and safety precautions.

Customer Service:

Providing friendly and professional service to customers.
