Job Title: Assistant to the Managing Consultant (Construction & Digital Operations) Location: Dehradun, with travel to project sites
Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary The Assistant to the Managing Consultant will act as an operational extension of the Principal, supporting construction project oversight, digital presence management, and administrative operations. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the versatility to manage both on-site and back-office functions. Sales responsibilities will remain exclusively with the Principal. Key Responsibilities Construction Support- Conduct routine and ad-hoc site visits across active projects.- Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients as instructed.- Prepare daily or weekly site reports with photographs and actionable observations. Content and Social Media Management- Capture and curate high-quality photos and videos from sites and events.- Draft engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube (regional language focus where needed).- Maintain posting schedules, analytics tracking, and audience engagement.- Support in developing brand-aligned storytelling around construction and home-building insights. Bookkeeping and Administration- Maintain financial records including invoices, purchase orders, and petty cash.- Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, and vendor documentation.- Manage calendars, appointments, and internal communication.- Organize digital data, files, and reports for timely access. Operational Coordination- Follow up with vendors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.- Conduct market research on materials, pricing, and new construction practices.- Support procurement logistics and inventory checks when required. Required Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of residential construction processes (preferred).- Ability to create structured documentation and simple financial statements.- Proficiency with smartphones, basic editing tools, and social media platforms.- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi (regional languages beneficial).- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Valid two-wheeler license and willingness to travel. Qualifications- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
