Personal Assistant duties and responsibilities



The tasks a personal assistant performs can include both professional and personal responsibilities.

Administrative support



? Manage calendars: Schedule meetings, appointments, and events while managing and

prioritizing a busy calendar.

? Handle communication: Act as the first point of contact by screening and directing phone

calls, emails, and mail. Draft and proofread correspondence on behalf of the employer.

? Organize meetings: Prepare for meetings by gathering documents, taking minutes, and

distributing meeting summaries to attendees.

? Maintain records: Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems and

databases.

? Liaise with others: Serve as a point of contact between the employer and internal staff,

clients, and suppliers.

Strategic and proactive support



? Conduct research: Carry out background research and present findings on various topics as

needed.

? Prepare documents: Create and edit documents, presentations, and reports.

? Anticipate needs: Proactively address potential issues and anticipate needs, such as

ensuring the employer has all necessary materials before a meeting.
