, you will work closely with the Founder, supporting the formulation, quality control, and refinement of fragrances across the brand's product lines. This role offers a rare opportunity to enter the niche world of perfumery within a boutique, craft-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring fragrance quality, batch consistency, and brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure olfactive consistency and quality across all fragrance batches.
Conduct batch-to-batch sensory evaluations and approve batches prior to market release.
Monitor fragrance performance across production lots and timelines; identify and resolve olfactive drift or ageing issues.
Review and compare GC (Gas Chromatography) profiles against master standards to maintain formulation integrity.
Plan and execute accelerated and real-time stability testing; track changes in colour, scent, clarity, and performance.
Perform olfactory evaluations of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to detect off-notes or inconsistencies.
Support adherence to SOPs, IFRA guidelines, and internal quality protocols in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams.
Assist in refining formulations to improve stability, longevity, and scalability without altering scent character.
Maintain the fragrance library, raw material inventory, MSDS, COAs, and formulation documentation.
Ensure lab hygiene, safety standards, and accurate record-keeping at all times.
Collaborate closely with the Founder to align creative intent with technical execution and protect the brand's fragrance identity.
Required Qualifications
Fresh graduates in Chemistry, Perfumery, Cosmetic Science, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Candidates trained at recognised perfumery institutes (ISIPCA, IFF, Givaudan, or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
Strong olfactory and sensory evaluation skills with a keen attention to detail.
Genuine passion for fragrances, botanicals, and aromatic ingredients.
Methodical approach to lab work, documentation, and quality control.
Ability to work collaboratively in a small, founder-led, creative environment.
High curiosity, discipline, and eagerness to learn both the art and science of perfumery.
