Job Descritpion of Performance Tester

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience


We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with LoadRunner, strong database querying skills, and proficiency in Java for scripting and test scenario development. Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute performance tests using LoadRunner Suite (VuGen, Controller, Analysis). Develop complex test logic and scripts using Java. Formulate and execute optimized SQL queries for backend validation and performance tuning. Monitor performance using tools such as AppDynamics or similar APM tools. Create accurate workload models and realistic test scenarios based on business requirements. Analyze test results and provide performance tuning recommendations. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Ensure adherence to best practices in performance testing and engineering.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing / engineering. Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner Suite (VuGen, Controller, Analysis). Proficient in Java programming for scripting and logic development. Strong SQL skills for writing and optimizing database queries. Experience with AppDynamics or similar test monitoring tools. Good understanding of workload modeling and test planning. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
