Skills: Performance Testing Experience: 7-9 Years Work Location: Hyderabad Job description : The client is looking for a Performance test Engineer with a minimum 6-7 years of experience in performance testing and 2-3 years of experience in performance engineering and monitoring. This person will plan, estimate, design and develop test scripts based on existing framework, troubleshoot issues, analyze results and make recommendations for better product releases. - Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or information Technology, or related field. - Performance test engineer with good hands-on experience in Agile performance testing projects. - Minimum 6 years of experience with end-to-end performance testing such as designing, building, maintaining, and executing performance test scripts using Neoload, LoadRunner and JMeter. - Experience in troubleshooting performance issues, analyzing bottlenecks, building dashboards at least one standard profiling/monitoring tools - Dynatrace, Grafana, AppDynamics etc. - Experience in testing SOAP and Restful services - Strong knowledge on Java/J2EE, SQL query creation and manipulation skills - Good understanding of Java runtime (JVM) performance, Garbage Collection and Thread management, Profiling, Bottleneck analysis, Tuning. - Fine tune existing Performance testing issues/optimize existing scripts/should perform hands-on in scripting as well as fine-tuning. - Should work closely with multiple stakeholders in gathering requirements and writing performance NFR\'s. - Should be able to analyze tests results and work with developers to improve application performance or help perform defect fixes. - Analyze performance metrics from test runs, identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for performance improvements to stakeholders. - Must be able to collaborate, contribute and mentor other team members. - Exposure in working in AWS environment and using AWS tools for performance execution is nice to have Personal/Soft Skills - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication - Ability to do presentations and walkthroughs with Systems and Business personnel. - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under deadlines in a changing environment.
