Job Description

The Senior Performance Test Engineer will be responsible to monitor software quality and associated business/technical risks across the software development lifecycle and will be dedicated to support planning, developing test scripts, executing test scenarios, and analyzing performance tests.




Responsibilities:


Design, develop, and execute performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, as well as mentoring other test team members.


Work with Project /Test Data Management Teams to establish test data in sufficient quantity to support the performance testing effort


Configure and Good knowledge performance monitoring tools and metrics (Dynatrace, CA Wily Introscope etc...)


Support the Performance Test Manager in the preparation of Performance testing artefacts


Good hands on experience End-to-End to performance testing methodology


Active participant in the meeting(s) and coordinate with stakeholders


Good hands on HP Loadrunner, Jmeter tools (HTTP, Trueclient Protocol)


Maintain up-to-instance repository of artifacts related to performance test executions.


Execute, monitor, analyze, and report performance tests.


Clear understanding of workload modeling, Operational profile


Timely and accurate communication of testing events, daily status, and test execution results, etc.


Work closely and support the coordination effort of other QA team members in primary and offshore locations.


Excellent spoken, written communication is a must





Basic Qualifications:




Bachelors Degree with Engineering or equivalent


At least 7- 10 years of experience with HP Performance Center


1 -2 years of experience with JMeter


1 - 2 years of experience with Open Source Performance Testing tools




Preferred Qualifications - 3 years experience of any of the following:


AppDynamics


Dynatrace


SQL Query tools


CA Wily Diagnostics tools


Agile Scrum methodology


UNIX experience with J2EE web hosted solutions.


UNIX experience with .NET applications.


Performance Test Simulations


Performance Analysis


Performance Tuning


Performance Monitoring in n-tier environment.
