Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Performance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and


possess in-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and performance testing in cloud-based architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance and scalability of our software products, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.


Your role will involve scripting, designing, executing, monitoring and reporting on various types of performance tests. Your goal would be establishing a consistent approach to performance testing our solutions to ensure scalability and stability. Various tools will be required to deliver these results. Experience with solutions such as, but not limited to, JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad will be required to accomplish your goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, maintain and report on performance test plans, performance test scripts and reports.
Collaborate with developers, testers, devops/infrastructure teams and product owners/Bas to develop performance test simulations.
Gather and manage performance test data as needed for performance test simulations.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed.
Mentor junior performance engineers and share best practices.
Refine documentation to reflect continual enhancements in performance testing processes and procedure.
Other performance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience leading performance testing efforts, communicating with stakeholders and influencing architectural/system design choices.
Proven experience in delivering clear reports upon performance testing activities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor and
guide junior performance engineers.
Ability to develop and execute performance test plans as well as performance test scripts.
Experience with managing multiple performance testing and reporting tools to deliver results.
Ability to Develop and manage comprehensive performance testing plans while collaborating with engineering teams.
Work with Sr. Management to ensure HL milestones and directives are met regarding performance testing activities.

Primary Lead Skills:

Strong understanding of Performance Testing in a cloud/distributed environment/architecture.
Extensive experience with at least one performance testing tool including, but not limited to, such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
Ability to compare and contrast performance testing tools is a plus.
Strong communication skills in performance testing practices and reporting results.
Hands-on experience with scripting, monitoring and reporting on performance testing.
Experience reviewing performance testing scripts and providing necessary feedback.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins) is a
plus.
Experience developing GUI based scripts for monitoring during performance tests
BONUS: Experience in blockchain and/or AI technology with experience diagnosing performance issues
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
