Job Description

The Role:

Keyrus is seeking a skilled

Performance Test Engineer

to design, implement, and execute performance, scalability, and stress tests to ensure the robustness and responsiveness of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

JMeter

(primary tool) and exposure to

LoadRunner

for legacy or specialised scenarios.


This role requires critical thinking, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Pune or Bangalore

Salary range:

25,00,000 to 30,00,000 INR

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using

JMeter

. Execute load, stress, and endurance tests using

JMeter

and

LoadRunner

. Analyse test results to identify bottlenecks across application layers. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve performance issues. Monitor and capture system metrics using tools like

Dynatrace

or

Azure App Insights

. Automate test execution and integrate performance testing into

CI/CD pipelines

. Document results, findings, and provide actionable recommendations for optimisation.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

5+ years of experience in performance testing roles. Strong hands-on experience with

JMeter

(scripting, scenario design, distributed testing, integration with Jenkins/Grafana). Working knowledge of

LoadRunner

for legacy applications. Experience with monitoring tools such as

Dynatrace

or

Azure App Insights

. Familiarity with

Git

and

Jira

for version control and defect tracking. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Solid understanding of system architecture and cloud environments. Exposure to

API

,

database

, and

message queue (MQ)

performance testing. Experience with automation frameworks and scripting in

Java

or

Python

is a plus.
