Introduction: The existing application development team for Wholesale Onboarding & Group FCO Technology (TC01) in Barclays is being extended to ensure the entire book of work can be delivered. The candidate will become an integral part of the KYC team based in Pune and will have 4-8 years’ experience of performance testing using Load Runner

  • As a “Performance testing Analyst” –
    • Under moderate supervision manages test project (small / medium), its risks and dependencies
    • Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise execution and validation of test plans
    • Mitigates / escalates issues to Test Manager or Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate
    • Work with development team to create automated test scripts for enhancements and fixes on applications
    • Execute and Support:
      • Performance Testing / Monitoring / Tuning / Benchmarking
      • Network Profiling & Sizing
      • Load Testing.
      • Stress Testing.
      • Volumetric testing.
      • Endurance testing.
. What will you be doing?
  • Prepare / Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy
  • Prepare Phase Test Plan
  • Coordinate / Prepare Test Bed/Test Data for execution
  • Prepare Performance Plan and Execution Plans
  • Responsible for ownership of tools strategy
  • Confirm connectivity and readiness of test team
  • Assist Test Manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
  • Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation
  • Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test reports
  • Automated execution using Selenium
What skill we required? Hands on experience in performance testing and execution using Load Runner
  • Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile Test estimation techniques approaches and processes and of CI / CD and DevOps methodologies
  • Good knowledge in Database SQL queries
Skills that will help you in the role: Experience in programming languages like Java
  • Exposure to various file formats
  • Knowledge of Industry standard training associated with performance engineering
