Role description

1. Developing and Executing Test Plans: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure

that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested.

2. Test Scripts: Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using various tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency

and application coverage.

3. Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs or issues in Jira. Collaborate with

the development team to ensure issues are resolved and perform regression testing to confirm fixes.

4. Compliance with Standards: Ensure that products comply with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product leads, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and

provide feedback on design specifications.

6. Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve quality and productivity.

7. Risk Assessment: Analyze and prioritize risks to determine the critical areas that require focused QA efforts.

8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, bug reports, and other relevant information to

ensure transparency and traceability.

Skills

Over 5 years of strong experience in relevant performance testing of web and web-service applications, with hands-on

experience in automation testing using IBM RPT or Micro Focus LoadRunner.

Analyzed the performance of applications by reviewing performance results and providing technical assistance to improve

system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability to enhance the customer experience.

Utilized performance testing tools including SOAP UI, JMeter, LoadRunner, Load UI, and IBM Rational Performance Tester. Employed monitoring tools, including Dynatrace and Splunk. Drove DevOps Continuous Integration methodologies, creating reusable performance and automation scripts across multiple

releases with minimal script and test data maintenance. Used Jenkins to run regression test performance and automation jobs

on TCOE lab machines and servers.

Responsible for constantly monitoring test execution daily to identify appropriate risks. Escalated risks to higher management

and formulated mitigation plans.

With extensive expertise in the industry and a firm understanding of software development and computer programming,

assisted clients in achieving cutting-edge technology and tools in Continuous Improvement and Continuous Development.

Drove performance and automation CI/CD initiatives at the organizational level. Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
