Super Compute Platform (SCP) Group is a newly formed team focused on execution in strategic growth areas of building high-performance computing (HPC) products for Intel. SCP is looking for SoC Performance modelling Engineer. Performance modelling team within the SCP group is responsible for early performance exploration and analysis that drive the definition of the high performance computing (HPC) products. As part of this role you will be responsible for micro-architecting, designing, coding, validating software simulation models. This involves developing and using C++ based performance models to evaluate the the proposed architecture and micro-architecture. With new architecture definition this role give an excellent opportunity to work on from scratch performance models. This job will involve intense engagements with architects, micro architects, RTL and software development teams. Qualifications

Qualification: - B.Tech in CE or EE (Mtech - advantage) - 8-15+ years of experience in SoC/ASIC with minimum 3-4 years of experience in SoC performance modelling. - Strong programming and debugging experience in C/C++, System C and familiar with scripting languages. - An understanding of CPU micro-architecture with kknowledge of SystemC, TLM. Experience creating system level models would be a plus. - Experience of exploring and evaluating ideas and performance related to processor micro-architecture. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to multitask. - Ability to work in dynamic and team oriented environment. - A self-driven, motivated, excellent communicator, extremely organized, collaborates with other team members and committed to deliveries and timelines - Additionally strong grasp of the fundamentals of interconnects, distributed caches, coherency flows, memory controller, PCIe transaction flows will be added plus.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
