Role summary
We're looking for a results-driven paid-ads specialist to manage and scale acquisition across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), Snapchat, and other channels. Your mission: increase number of orders, improve ROAS, increase LTV/AOV, implement AI & experimentation to drive efficient growth, and translate ad performance into real business outcomes for a Shopify-based iPhone case brand.
Key responsibilities
Build, launch and optimize full-funnel ad campaigns across Meta, Google, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
Manage daily campaign operations: audience testing, creatives, bids, budgets, tracking and attribution.
Create and execute growth strategies (prospecting ? retargeting ? retention) tuned for accessory/electronics categories.
Use AI tools and automation (creative variants, copy testing, bid automation, predictive budget allocation) to scale performance.
Collaborate with design/creative and product teams to produce conversion-focused creative (video + static + UGC).
Implement and maintain accurate tracking (server-side events, GA4, Conversion API, UTM standards).
Analyze data, build dashboards, and deliver weekly/monthly performance reports with action items.
Run experiments (A/B tests on offers, creatives, landing pages) and document learnings.
Recommend and implement CRO improvements on product pages, cart flow and post-purchase funnels.
Stay on top of platform changes and industry trends; share quarterly strategy updates.
Required skills & experience
3+ years managing paid media for ecommerce brands (direct response focus).
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (incl. Shopping & Performance Max), and at least one other channel (Snapchat/TikTok).
Strong understanding of Facebook Conversions API, pixel strategies, GA4, UTM tagging and server-side tracking.
Experience running a Shopify store (apps, checkout flows, product feeds).
Data-driven: comfortable with segmentation, ROAS/CAC/LTV analysis and SQL/Excel for ad analytics.
Proven track record of improving ROAS and scaling ad spend profitably.
Experience with creative strategy & testing -- working with designers or UGC creators.
Familiarity with AI tools for ad copy/creative ideation, creative scoring, automated rules, or bidding.
Strong communication & collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have
Experience specifically with mobile accessories or fast-moving consumer electronics.
Familiar with Klaviyo/Customer.io or other email/SMS retention tactics.
Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio / BigQuery / Tableau.
Experience running influencer/affiliate programs.
KPIs & targets (example)
Target ROAS: 3.5x+ (adjustable by campaign type).
CAC target: set by product margin -- aim to reduce CAC 10-30% in first 90 days.
Increase Monthly Orders: +20-50% in first 3 months (depends on ad budget).
Lift AOV by 10-20% through bundling/cross-sell.
Conversion rate / checkout improvements measured monthly.
30-60-90 day plan (what we expect)
0-30 days: audit existing accounts + tracking; stop bleeding campaigns; prioritize quick wins; baseline reporting.
31-60 days: run structured tests (audiences, creatives, offers); implement Conversion API & server events if missing; launch new prospecting funnels.
61-90 days: scale winning campaigns, automate rules/bidding, implement retention flows & upsell funnels, deliver scalable creative playbook.
Tools you'll use
Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Klaviyo (or similar), creative asset tools (Figma/Canva), and AI tools for ad ideation/automation.
