Job Description
Experience as a Performance Analyst with focus on Mainframe ZOS, DB2, IMS CICS and MQ Strong knowledge of DB2/IMS/CICS/MQ Internals and a fair amount of systems and Application programming background Extensive experience in resolving performance issues in a mainframe online and database environment Vast experience on tuning of PLI/COBOL programs and SQL\'s Should be conversant with SMF records, SAS / MXG or TDS and able to extract performance related information pertaining to DB2, CICS, IMS and MQ Experience with RMF, SMF, LPAR Capping and Weights Should be able to develop analytical models and perform capacity sizing for new online / batch workloads Primary Skills: Rich experience in working in performance monitoring tools like Omegamon, SYSVIEW, Mainview products related to ZOS, DB2, CICS, IMS and storage Rich experience in working in profiling tools like Strobe, IBM APA, FreezeFrame etc.. Exposure to MXG/SAS reporting tools
