Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
As a member of the retail analytics performance group, this position will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining performance focused evaluations of a cloud native, JET-based UI. This position will also assist in the continued development and evolution of cloud focused performance analytics and reporting capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5+ years of proven work experience in test automation
• 3+ years of experience in automation technologies including Selenium and scripting languages including Java.
• Should be proficient in SQL
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL is desirable
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Familiar with build tools ( Jenkins ), Automation Framework, SQL Unit Testing, SQL analytic functions and features and Functionally strong in retail domain ( planning ) will be added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive investigating and debugging of application defects
• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Collaboration and project management tools: JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with continuous automation/test tools such as Jenkins/Hudson
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a geographically distributed organization
