About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing who can own revenue growth, scale paid acquisition, and creatively drive virality.
This role is not just about running ads -- it's about generating winning ideas, building scalable funnels, and making the product culturally relevant and shareable.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Growth Ownership
Own end-to-end performance marketing across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, and emerging platforms
Drive user acquisition, conversions, and revenue growth with strong ROAS and CAC discipline
Build and optimize funnels from awareness ? consideration ? purchase ? referrals
Creative & Viral Strategy
Ideate high-impact ad concepts that resonate emotionally (self-discovery, personality, relationships, career, mindset)
Work closely with creators, designers, and copywriters to produce thumb-stopping creatives
Identify viral hooks, trends, and formats to amplify organic + paid synergy
Experimentation & Scaling
Design and run rapid experiments (A/B testing creatives, audiences, landing pages, offers)
Scale winning campaigns aggressively while cutting non-performing spends fast
Test UGC, influencer whitelisting, reels, short-form video ads
Data, Analytics & Insights
Deeply analyze campaign performance (CTR, CPA, LTV, ROAS, cohort behavior)
Translate insights into actionable growth decisions
Collaborate with product & tech teams to improve conversion journeys
Leadership & Ownership
Build and lead the performance marketing function
Own agency / freelancer relationships if required
Act as a growth partner to founders, not just an executor
Primary Skills & Requirements
Core Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in Meta Ads & Google Ads
Proven experience scaling consumer internet / SaaS / EdTech / D2C products
Deep understanding of creative-led performance marketing
Experience driving virality, referrals, and shareable growth loops
Strategic & Creative Thinking
Ability to generate original growth ideas, not copy competitors
Strong storytelling and consumer psychology understanding
Knows how to sell intangible products (personality, insights, emotions)
Data & Execution
Strong analytical mindset with comfort using dashboards, attribution tools, and analytics
Ability to balance speed + structure in a fast-moving startup
Comfortable working with limited budgets initially and scaling fast
Nice to Have
Experience in psychology, self-help, astrology, assessments, or insight-based products
Experience working with early-stage or growth-stage startups
Exposure to international audiences
