Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced People Services Specialist to support our People operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Operating from India, this role plays a critical part in delivering consistent, efficient, and employee-centric PEOPLE services, ensuring compliance with regional labour laws and internal policies, and supporting tools such as Workday and ServiceNow.
Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations Support:
+ Execute day-to-day People Services tasks covering the employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, exits, contract changes, benefits, leave management, etc.).
+ Manage and resolve employee inquiries and cases via ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance and employee satisfaction.
+ Review and validate documentation for local compliance and audit readiness.
Regional Coordination:
+ Ensure alignment of processes with global People Services standards while accounting for country-specific regulations (India, Singapore, Australia, Philippines, etc.).
+ Act as the first point of contact for escalation of complex cases or exceptions requiring coordination with in-country teams.
+ Support benefits administration and country-specific documentation needs (e.g., tax forms, visa letters, etc.).
Process Improvement & Standardization:
+ Support the alignment of local processes with global standards while considering local compliance.
+ Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to improve service delivery and training.
+ Support internal controls and audit processes by ensuring data integrity and compliance with legal and policy requirements.
+ Prepare and validate People reports, trackers, and dashboards for stakeholders across APAC.
Project Support:
+ Participate in regional and global People Services projects (e.g., system enhancements, transitions, automation).
+ Support data audits, reporting, and service metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Employee Experience:
+ Ensure a high-quality employee experience through timely communication, empathy, and consistent service.
+ Promote the use of self-service tools and knowledge resources to drive adoption and reduce manual touchpoints.
Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4-6 years of experience in an HR Shared Services or People Operations role, preferably in a regional or global context.
Hands on experience with Workday and ServiceNow is strongly preferred.
Understanding of PEOPLE practices and employment laws in key APAC countries (e.g., Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, India, Philippines).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
Ability to work across time zones and in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a multinational company or supporting multi-country People processes.
Proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Bahasa).
Continuous improvement mindset and experience with Lean/Agile practices.
