We are recruiting for a senior human resources professional based in Pune. Someone with 5+ years of prior experience in Shared Services management, labor law & compliances for the APAC region is important to have.

The role requires a strong partnership with regional and global HR partners and should be adept at cross-functional partnership and communication.
Role Description
Employee Life Cycle
Expertise in handling start to end Employee life cycle management in shared services processes like onboarding, background checks, confirmations, separation, R&R, employee connects, grievance handling, performance management, disciplinary management, exit management.
Initiate and monitor probationary reviews and quarterly reviews for employees.
Acquire background checks and employment eligibility verifications
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
Ownership of creating and issuing employment documentation, in line with the People processes for the end-to-end employee life cycle, such as employment contracts, starter packs, leaver letters & employee changes etc. for your responsible population. Support on the employer managed mobility documentation.
Data Management, Accuracy & Reporting
Data Management - Maintain human resources information systems (HRIS) by contributing to the day-to-day management of employee data (On our HR system) and providing recommendations on data administration.
Must be able to track and analyze data and the root cause of issues related to data integrity, security, and privacy and support data modeling initiatives.
Ensure seamless data flow between systems to support unified HR operations.
Perform data entry and updates with high accuracy and within specified timelines.
Ensure data completeness and integrity for generating reports and analysis
Analyze progress trends by different departments
Compliance & Audits
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, particularly audits like ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, etc
Generate and share regular compliance reports with HR management
Ensuring that People Operations processes and work instructions are updated promptly so that they comply with Internal Audit compliance standards and local legal requirements.
Automation
Identify opportunities to leverage technology for process optimisation, automation, and enhanced data analytics.
Lead efforts to integrate and optimise HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other relevant software solutions.
Develop and implement standardised workflows, ensuring consistency across the organisation.
Collaborate with HR leadership to effectively communicate the benefits and progress of digitisation initiatives to stakeholders.
Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions independently
Others
Collaborate with HR leadership to effectively communicate the benefits and progress of digitisation initiatives to stakeholders.
Effectively manage administrative tasks as and when required. Right from managing VISA applications to organising events.
Foster a culture of transparency and open communication regarding HR digitisation efforts.
Creating policies and handbooks that detail the company's operations
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to, benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
Collaborate with HRBP members and stakeholders to communicate data-driven insights and updates effectively.
Strong communication skills, ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders
Benefits management, processing, and reporting - in line with local laws in the region and processes defined by the country.
