Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.


We are seeking a proactive and skilled HR Operations AI Transformation Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and driving process improvement initiatives through the adoption of AI technologies within HR Operations. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to modernise our HR service delivery, elevate employee experience, and streamline operational efficiency.

In this role you will:



Analyze existing HR processes and workflows to identify automation and AI optimization opportunities. Lead or support the selection and implementation of AI-powered HR solutions (e.g., chatbots, virtual assistants, predictive analytics, intelligent document automation). Collaborate with HR, People Tech, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop project plans, and ensure effective adoption of new technologies. Develop business cases and present recommendations to senior HR leadership. Serve as the subject matter expert on AI trends and best practices in HR operations. Coordinate process mapping, data migration, integration testing, and user training for new tools or enhancements. Monitor early adoption and fallout automation, providing recommendations for optimization and enhancements. Track and report project performance metrics, ROI, and user feedback to inform continuous improvement. Support change management and communication efforts to ensure smooth transitions. Maintain documentation and develop knowledge resources for HR teams.



Experience and Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 4+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or HR process improvement roles. Strong understanding of AI concepts and their application in HR (e.g., automation, NLP, machine learning). Proven experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, NowAssist, ServiceNow) and emerging HR tech tool

Nice to Have:



Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.). Formal project management or change management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile). Exposure to data privacy and compliance in HR technology Demonstrated ability to manage projects from ideation to execution. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process mapping skills. Collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
