In this role, you will:
As a People Business Consultant for Infrastructure, you will work closely with key stakeholders including:

  • Business leaders, Heads of HR - E.g. for planning strategic people priorities
  • CoEs and capability centres - E.g. for designing programs and projects
  • HRBPs - For ensuring local level diagnosis, execution and implementation
The People Business Consultant may also get opportunities to work with external consultants to help design and deliver pragmatic solutions.
The role holder will be involved in leading, providing objective advice and expertise on HR multi-disciplinary projects/programs aligning with business vision and strategy for the function/business.
They will deliver on the following areas (not limited to): * Strategic ownership - Establish and review key strategic priorities and translate them into actionable and measurable plans for end-to-end implementation. Lead identification and assessment of transformational/strategic initiatives to establish structured practices across the functions; enable adoption/implementation
  • Portfolio management - Own and manage complex portfolios of work along with planning and execution activities for the function/business ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery by building and directing workplans, timelines and budgets. Ensuring timely delivery and monitoring/reporting
  • Programme management- Design controls for managing and monitoring scope issues, schedule over-runs, risks, and inter-dependencies for effectively managing program delivery
  • Stakeholder management - Develop key relationships and manage the expectations of key stakeholders including ExCo members, People Committees, COO/CAO teams, Heads of HR, HRBPs, HR CoEs, and business leaders. Partner with key stakeholders in co-creating solutions for the business / functions
  • Design and delivery of people plans - Partner with key stakeholders for defining, executing and measuring the effectiveness of people plans while also acting as an advisor to Heads of HR, HRBPs and senior business leaders. Support key stakeholders to cascade people strategy and actionable people outcomes
  • Team effectiveness - Promote values such as trust and collaboration, agility and well-being within the team while working with others
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • To have extensive HR experience ideally across multiple HR disciplines
  • To have external consulting experience, and can manage multiple projects effectively
  • To have experience in transformation/change roles
  • To are a critical thinker with good analytical skills, can translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
  • To thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere, with strong influencing skills and experience of engaging with senior global stakeholders
  • Be flexible, tenacious, and resilient to deal with business demands during periods of high workload.
