About the Role
We are looking for an experienced People Analytics & Operations Lead to serve as the onsite leader for HR Operations in India while contributing directly to global Centers of Excellence initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global People Operations, this role will manage HR reporting and analytics programs that span the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, while also providing leadership to HR Operations resources based in India to ensure they are supported locally. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with hands-on leadership, aligning in-region teams to global HR programs and processes that drive operational excellence and enhance the employee experience worldwide.
What You Will Do -
Key Core Responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standardize & Implement Policies:
Work with US based HR Operations Leadership Team to implement global HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence across different regions while ensuring local compliance with labor laws. Provide guidance to business on all policies and processes.
  • Oversee India Onsite HR Operations:
Manage daily Global HR operations, to include employee life cycle, employee data management on a global scale.
Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and develop onsite HR operations teams, setting objectives and monitoring performance to achieve operational excellence targets.
Collaborate and act as a source of resolution and business partner to Finance, Benefits, IT, HRBP's, HR Director and department stakeholders.
In partnership with the HR Business Partners and Finance ensure compensation/ human capital budget is properly maintained and updated in the financial system.
Ability to roll up sleeves and support day-to-day HR Team functions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in HR service delivery, cost efficiency, and employee experience through new processes and technology. Provide input on key metrics, queries and dashboards.
ANALYTICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Develop and Manage Reporting Systems:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting solutions, dashboards, and data warehouses for global business operations.
Analyze diverse workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to talent management, engagement, attrition, and productivity.
Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models using HRIS and BI tools to deliver automated and advanced analytics.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of HR data, collaborating with HRIS, Privacy, and IT teams to maintain data standards.
Ensure all reporting and data analysis comply with internal policies, global data protection regulations (like GDPR), and legal requirements.
Translate complex data findings and strategic recommendations into clear, compelling executive reporting to guide senior leadership decisions.
  • Data Quality and Governance:
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and cleanliness of global data, and implement best practices for data governance.
  • Process Automation:
Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting processes to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Promote a Data-Driven Culture:
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Mentorship and Guidance:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, helping them develop skills and meet quality standards.
What You Will Need
  • Global Perspective:
Deep understanding of international labor laws, cultural nuances, and global workforce management challenges. 7-10 years' HR operations experience in a global organization.
  • Leadership & Management:
Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing HR teams, including direct reports in various regions.
  • Strategic Thinking:
Ability to develop and execute global HR strategies and contribute to enterprise-level projects.
  • Technical Proficiency:
Experience with HR information systems (HRIS), managing HR technology, and recommending new software to address HR needs.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Strong ability to build relationships with HR leadership, other departments, and stakeholders to understand and meet business needs.
  • Problem-Solving:
Capacity to assess the impact of changes on HR operations, implement process changes, and provide guidance on complex HR issues.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Project management, including the ability to establish and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced, detail-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of commitment to confidentiality.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, using excellent interpersonal skills for the purpose of communicating and listening, and with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in using HRIS System (e.g. UKG, ADP, Dayforce)
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Knowledge of Global VISA processing
  • Microsoft Access, Excel, Office, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Organization and time management
