The People Advisor ensures a seamless, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. This role acts as a key link between Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Payroll, IT, and hiring managers, while also providing first-line people advisory support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Pre-Joining
Own end-to-end onboarding for all hires (lateral, intern, contract)
Coordinate pre-joining documentation, background verification, and offer acceptance
Ensure timely issuance of contracts, welcome communication, and joining instructions
Track joiner status, drop-outs, and onboarding metrics
Day-1 & Early Employee Experience
Facilitate Day-1 onboarding sessions and orientation programs
Coordinate system access, ID cards, and IT setup
Support probation tracking and early engagement check-ins
HR Advisory & Employee Support
Act as first point of contact for onboarding-related and HR queries
Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes
Support managers with new joiner integration and expectations
HR Operations & Documentation
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS
Prepare HR letters, contracts, and confirmation documentation
Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits teams for timely enrollments
Compliance & Governance
Ensure onboarding processes comply with company policies and labor laws
Support audits and maintain onboarding documentation
Maintain confidentiality of employee data
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Analyze onboarding feedback and suggest process improvements
Track onboarding KPIs such as joining ratio, time-to-productivity, and early attrition
Support engagement initiatives during the first 90 days###
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Knowledge of HR onboarding processes and compliance
Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving ability
Ability to manage high-volume onboarding
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in HR or related field
3-6 years of experience in HR onboarding, HR operations, or advisory roles
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and MS Excel
