Job Title - Penetration Tester & Advanced Network Security Specialist
(Cybersecurity + Digital Surface Defence)
Company Overview
We are a cybersecurity-first organization operating at the intersection of offensive
security, resilient networking, and social media optimization (SMO). Our mission is to
secure not just systems and networks, but digital presence itself--from data centers to
cloud stacks to the noisy, adversarial world of social platforms. Attackers don't respect
boundaries; neither do we.
Role Summary
We are looking for penetration testers and hardcore networking professionals with a
deep cybersecurity background who enjoy breaking things (ethically), understanding
how they broke, and then making them unbreakable. This role blends offensive
security, defensive architecture, and digital exposure analysis, including risks
introduced by social media channels and online branding ecosystems.
You will simulate real-world attacks, dissect complex networks, and help secure
infrastructure that supports both enterprise systems and public-facing digital
platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Penetration Testing & Offensive Security
Conduct black-box, grey-box, and white-box penetration tests on networks, web applications, APIs, cloud environments, and mobile platforms
Perform network-level attacks including VLAN hopping, ARP spoofing, DNS poisoning, man-in-the-middle attacks, and lateral movement
Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities such as misconfigurations, weak authentication, insecure protocols, and exposed services
Simulate advanced persistent threat (APT) style attacks and red-team exercises
Develop and customize exploits, scripts, and tooling when off-the-shelf tools fall short
Networking & Infrastructure Security
Design, analyze, and harden enterprise-grade network architectures (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, hybrid cloud)
Deep hands-on work with routing, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and load balancers
Secure network services including DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP/S, FTP, and VoIP
Analyze packet captures and traffic flows to detect anomalies, intrusions, and data exfiltration
Support zero-trust and defense-in-depth network models
Cybersecurity Operations & Defense
Collaborate with SOC and blue teams to validate detections and improve incident response
Assist in threat modeling, attack surface mapping, and risk assessments
Review and improve security policies, standards, and hardening guides
Stay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques
Social Media & Digital Presence Security
Assess risks related to social media platforms, brand accounts, and digital marketing infrastructure
Identify threats such as account takeovers, phishing campaigns, impersonation, and data leakage
Work with SMO teams to ensure secure integrations, APIs, analytics tools, and automation platforms
Advise on secure content workflows, access controls, and platform governance Reporting & Communication
Produce clear, technically accurate, and actionable reports for both technical teams and leadership
Translate complex vulnerabilities into real-world business and reputational risks
Participate in client briefings, internal knowledge sharing, and security workshops
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in penetration testing and network security
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols, switching, and network segmentation
Proficiency with tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nessus, OpenVAS, and custom scripts
Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows internals
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable
Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) Security Knowledge
Strong grasp of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques
Understanding of authentication, encryption, PKI, and secure communications
Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices Mindset & Soft Skills
Curious, analytical, and relentlessly detail-oriented
Comfortable thinking like an attacker and acting like a defender
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Clear communicator who can explain complex technical issues without mysticism
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent experience
Experience working with digital marketing, SMO, or public-facing platforms from a security perspective
Prior red-team, blue-team, or purple-team experience
What We Offer
Work on real-world, high-impact security challenges across infrastructure and digital presence
Exposure to both cutting-edge cybersecurity and evolving social media ecosystems
A culture that values deep thinking, experimentation, and continuous learning
Competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth
