Job Summary

The Pellet Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pellet mill equipment to produce high-quality animal feed pellets in accordance with production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate pellet mill machinery, conditioners, conveyors, and coolers Adjust machine settings (steam, temperature, pressure, die speed) to achieve correct pellet quality Monitor pellet quality including size, durability, moisture, and appearance Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot pellet mill operations Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance Identify and report mechanical problems or abnormal operations to supervisors or maintenance staff Follow production schedules and ensure minimal downtime and waste Record production data, downtime, and quality checks accurately Maintain cleanliness of the pellet mill area (housekeeping) Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations Follow feed formulation and biosecurity procedures to avoid contamination

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
