Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate the manuscript peer review process from submission to final editorial decision. Manage manuscript tracking systems (e.g., Editorial Manager, ScholarOne). Identify and invite suitable peer reviewers in consultation with editors. Monitor deadlines and follow up with authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure timely responses. Ensure adherence to peer review ethics, confidentiality, and transparency. Maintain accurate records and generate regular status reports. Assist in editorial board communication and meetings. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from authors and reviewers. Support editors with data analysis or performance metrics when needed. Liaise with production and publishing teams post-acceptance.

Desirable Skills:



Experience working with academic editors and international authors.

Ability to analyze peer review metrics and suggest improvements.

Familiarity with open access publishing and journal indexing requirements.
