MD and DNB Pediatrics

Key responsibilities

Examine and assess patients:

Conduct regular physical exams to monitor a child's physical and developmental health from infancy through adolescence.

Diagnose and treat:

Identify and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health problems.

Administer preventative care:

Provide recommended immunizations and preventative care advice.

Prescribe and manage treatment:

Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include prescribing medication.

Counsel patients and families:

Educate parents and caregivers on topics like nutrition, safety, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Maintain medical records:

Keep accurate and detailed records of patient history, illnesses, and treatments.

Collaborate with specialists:

Refer patients to specialists when their conditions require more specialized care.

Communicate effectively:

Clearly explain diagnoses and treatment plans to children and their guardians, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Stay current:

Keep up-to-date on advancements in pediatric medicine and public health.

Pay: ₹170,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
