Job Summary:
The Registrar in Pediatrics will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents under the supervision of senior pediatric consultants. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of pediatric conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
Manage patient care from admission to discharge, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with senior pediatricians and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Provide emergency care and participate in pediatric resuscitation when required.
Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately in medical records.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support.
Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
Supervise and support junior medical staff, interns, and medical students as assigned.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
MD in Pediatrics
Completion of an internship and relevant postgraduate training in Pediatrics.
Registration with the appropriate Medical Council or Licensing Authority.
Previous experience in pediatric clinical settings is preferred.
Advanced life support certifications (e.g., PALS) are advantageous.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
