Role Overview:

The PEB Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising pre-engineered building projects, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and client satisfaction. The role includes design understanding, site supervision, material coordination, and communication with structural and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

Understand PEB drawings, structural designs, and material specifications. Prepare project schedules, material lists, and execution plans. Coordinate with the design, fabrication, logistics, and erection teams.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

Monitor PEB erection activities (columns, rafters, purlins, sheeting, decking, etc.). Ensure installation is done as per approved drawings and safety standards. Resolve onsite technical issues and provide timely updates to management.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

Inspect incoming PEB materials and ensure adherence to quality standards. Ensure welding, bolting, and alignment checks are done properly. Maintain quality reports and ensure compliance with company and industry norms.

4. Client Coordination

Communicate with clients on project progress. Handle client queries and ensure timely problem resolution. Maintain professional relationships for smooth project execution.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Maintain material consumption reports and project documentation. Ensure all safety and legal documentation is updated.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

3-7 years of experience in PEB industry (fabrication, erection, or project management).

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of PEB structure components (columns, rafters, purlins, girts, ABC, roofing, cladding). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with AUTOCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

Soft Skills:

Good communication & team coordination. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
