AVP Human Resources PAN India

Role and Responsibilities :

- Implementation of the HR initiatives, programs and policies in line with organizational objectives.

- Designing & executing HR strategy across multiple plant level to meet business challenges with primary focus on recruitment, retention, overall talent management, learning and development, culture & values, people engagement.

a. Manpower planning and recruitment

- getting the manpower requisition from various depts wrt the current vacancies (replacement/new position)

- verifying the requisition against sanctioned manpower department wise for both contract & company

b. Developing and implementing the learning and development initiatives for the employees at plant in line with organizational objectives

c. Ensure training calendar prepared for the year

- ensure induction & orientation of new joinees

- coordination with external agencies for imparting behavioral trainings to workmen & staff

- ensure documentation and follow up of training records.

d. Ensuring all statutory compliance and representing the organization amongst enforcement authorities on matters of labour laws, permissions & renewals.

e. ensuring all welfare facilities being executed, both statutory and non-statutory so that the employees get best benefit and satisfied.

f. guiding the HR team members in adherence of sops and alteration as and when needed in coordination the factory head and India HR head

g discussing employee issues-grievances individually to come up with amicable solutions - coordinating with hod, site head, corporate HR for resolving grievances and improving employee satisfaction

h. managing contractors deployed at plant

- review contracts with various contractors for various depts.

- review manpower quantity and quality assigned to various depts.

- explore contractors for deployment for

- meeting sanctioned manpower as and when required

- regular interaction with contractors to ensure sanctioned manpower deployment on day to day basis.

- overseeing general administration activities like transport, housekeeping, vehicle parking, gate movement of employees, furniture & fixtures, seating arrangement of employees

- overseeing canteen management

- liaison with external agencies, neighboring industries, villages and authorities at local level for smooth functioning of the factory

i. people ensure adherence to sops and applicable policies and guidelines in the departmental activity.

j. train and update hr team on newer hr processes, critical hr parameters & initiatives

k. mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline

l. provide guidance and support to team members, where required

m. foster an environment of learning, excellence and team work across the function

n. conduct timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance and provide feedback to team members

o. monitor the performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify key performers

p. ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical employees

q. foster an environment of learning, excellence and team work across the function.

r. setup of new facilities and furnishing

- Preparation and finalization of layout and boq as per company's plan

- Close supervision of the interior and allied work for timely completion of the project

s. office lease and licensing

- Keeping records of all lease and licensing agreements

- Coordinating with the landlords/builders and executing lease agreements

- Obtaining approvals from the management and inviting tenders related to interiors and allied work

- Security, compliance and liasoning

t. asset and infrastructure management

- Monitoring and facilitation of servicing and repairing of assets as per maintenance schedules and register

- Coding, recordkeeping and keeping details of depreciation/book value of assets

- Handling of MC of all assets and furniture

u. MIS and budget

v. vendor management

w. house keeping

- Set up and monitoring all service operations to ensure hygiene

- Regular upkeep of the facilities

x. procurement

- Identifying vendors/suppliers/contractors from the market and sending them request for proposal

- Negotiation of competitive buying prices for the offers from vendors/suppliers/contractors

y. managing and owning all statutory and client related compliances including client related compliance
