Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Role Summary

Responsible for conducting physical education classes, promoting overall fitness, and managing school sports activities. The candidate must be energetic, disciplined, and capable of motivating students while ensuring a safe and active learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct PE classes as per the school timetable and curriculum. Teach physical fitness routines, sports skills, and movement-based activities. Ensure safety and discipline of students during all PE sessions. Organize inter-house sports competitions, annual sports day, and fitness events. Identify, train, and encourage students for school-level and external sports competitions. Maintain sports equipment, stock registers, and activity records. Collaborate with teachers and admin staff for event planning and student growth. Promote teamwork, healthy habits, and sportsmanship among students.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of sports, physical training, and fitness activities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage large student groups and maintain discipline. Energetic, student-friendly, and capable of motivating learners. Basic computer and record-keeping skills.

Eligibility

B.P.Ed or equivalent physical education qualification (mandatory). Experience working as a PE Teacher or sports coach in a school environment (preferred).
