Relocation Authorized:None Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project Work Location:New Delhi Job Summary: The Piping Spec and RDB Support role is at the core of Bechtel's 3D modeling and design workprocesses. The role is liable for generating, implementing, and updating Smart3D catalog based on piping specifications in Smart Reference Data (SRD), and Project material requirements. The candidate will be liable for exporting the Piping Specs from SRD, uploading them in the Smart3D catalog, and essaying them for successful placement as per Project schedule. The candidate will work with the Project materials engineer for assisting and assisting Project requirements. The role demands understanding of S3D Piping Catalog, SRD configurations and Piping Materials & Specifications used across process plants (Oil & Gas, Power, Energy, Mining & Metal, etc). Job Responsibilities: Accommodate with Project materials engineer to acknowledge piping specifications and relevant codes applicable for the Project Liable for creating and updating SRD Geometries Keeping Smart3D catalog in-sync with SRD and Project requirements Develop and implement piping catalogs configurations in Smart Reference Data and export to Smart3D Participate in technical workshops and training Provide support for consulting across department functions and services. Provide guidance and direction to entry-level professionals. Provide support for product certification assignments. Under supervision, exercise ingenuity and self-governing judgment to the development of solutions for problems. Demonstrate understanding of principles, and concepts of product specialization. Exercise a degree of self-direction and decision making Basic Qualifications: .Bachelor's degree in engineering, computers or related science from a four-year accredited college or university with 8+ years' experience or in lieu of degree, 12+ years of progressive experience in relevant industry Experience in piping materials management, piping spec creation or S3D Catalog/RDB and SRD is essential with 3+ years of hands-on work Knowledge of Smart Reference Data - managing export configurations and exporting catalogs from Smart Reference Data Knowledge of managing commodity codes and idents in Smart Reference Data is an added advantage Basic knowledge Oracle/SQL/Access database and SQL is an added advantage Prior knowledge of E&PI and or Smart Materials will be an added advantage
