The

PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing and managing the pre-delivery inspection process of new vehicles to ensure they meet manufacturer quality standards before delivery to customers. The role involves supervising PDI technicians, coordinating with sales, service, and logistics teams, and ensuring timely and error-free vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily PDI operations for new vehicles. Ensure all vehicles undergo PDI as per manufacturer and dealership checklists. Monitor inspection quality for exterior, interior, electrical, mechanical, and safety systems. Assign work and guide PDI technicians to meet delivery timelines. Verify completion of accessories fitment and required updates before delivery. Identify, report, and coordinate rectification of defects with service teams. Maintain PDI records, checklists, and inspection reports accurately. Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for vehicle readiness and dispatch. Ensure vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and prepared as per delivery standards. Enforce safety, housekeeping, and quality standards in the PDI area. Conduct training and performance evaluation of PDI staff. Support audits and compliance with OEM and internal quality processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Above 1 year of experience in PDI, quality control, or vehicle inspection. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
