The PDI Supervisor oversees the complete Pre-Delivery Inspection process for new vehicles, ensuring every vehicle is checked, cleaned, accessorized, and prepared as per OEM standards before delivery to customers. The role involves managing the PDI team, coordinating with sales and service departments, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Management
Supervise the PDI process for all incoming vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are inspected as per manufacturer/OEM guidelines.
Monitor quality checks including mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections.
Verify completion of test drives, if applicable.
2. Team Supervision
Lead and guide PDI technicians and cleaners.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion.
Conduct training for PDI staff on new models, processes, and quality protocols.
3. Vehicle Readiness & Quality Control
Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, polished, and accessorized as required.
Perform final quality check before handing over to sales team.
Identify and resolve any faults or discrepancies immediately.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with the sales team for vehicle delivery schedules.
Work with workshop/service teams for rectification of any technical issues found during PDI.
Maintain communication with OEM representatives when needed.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain PDI checklists and inspection reports for all vehicles.
Record any defects, repairs, and resolutions.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on PDI status and vehicle readiness.
6. Inventory & Accessories Management
Coordinate with the accessories department for timely fitment.
Monitor stock of PDI consumables like cleaning materials, tools, etc.
Ensure proper handling and storage of vehicles in the PDI yard.
7. Safety & Compliance
Ensure PDI area safety and cleanliness.
Follow OEM and dealership guidelines for vehicle handling.
Enforce safety procedures for the team.

Qualifications & Experience:
