Job Description

The PDI Incharge oversees the entire pre-delivery inspection process and manages a team of technicians responsible for inspecting and preparing vehicles for delivery. They ensure that vehicles are free from defects, damages, and mechanical issues, and that all accessories and features are in working order. They are responsible for maintaining a high level of quality control and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities



1. Coordinate and supervise the pre-delivery inspection process for vehicles.

2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for PDI activities.

3. Inspect vehicles for any damages, scratches, or mechanical issues and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.

4. Ensure that all accessories and features of the vehicle are functioning correctly.

5. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.

6. Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, repairs, and customer complaints.

7. Conduct training programs for technicians to enhance their knowledge and skills.

8. Monitor and maintain inventory of PDI-related tools, equipment, and spare parts.

9. Uphold and enforce safety protocols within the PDI department.

10. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to the PDI process.

SKILLS Requirement



a) Strong knowledge of automobile systems, components, and functioning.

b) Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues.

c) Good leadership and team management skills.

d) Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technicians, sales staff, and customers.

e) Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.

f) Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

g) Organizational and time management skills.

h) Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

Education



A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience



Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in a role related to vehicle inspections or quality control, is highly preferred.

Experience in managing a team of technicians or working in a supervisory role is beneficial.

Familiarity with the PDI process and related documentation is an advantage.

Adequate knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the automotive industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?24,000.00 per month
