Job Description

A PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Coordinator is responsible for supervising and managing all activities related to vehicle inspection, quality checks, accessories fitment, documentation, and timely delivery of vehicles from the stockyard to the showroom. The role ensures that every vehicle meets company quality standards before handover to customers.

Key Responsibilities



1. PDI Operations Management



Coordinate and supervise complete PDI processes for new vehicles. Ensure vehicles undergo thorough inspection as per OEM guidelines. Check for transit damages, missing parts, and escalate issues immediately. Maintain PDI checklists and ensure quality standards are followed.

2. Vehicle Movement & Stock Management



Manage vehicle movement from stockyard to PDI area and showroom. Monitor and update vehicle stock availability in the system. Ensure proper parking, identification, and handling of vehicles.

3. Accessories Fitment & Preparation



Coordinate with accessories technicians for timely fitment. Ensure correct accessories are fitted as per the customer order. Verify cleanliness, polishing, and overall readiness of each vehicle.

4. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain PDI records, vehicle status reports, and delivery readiness reports. Update the sales team on vehicle readiness and delays. File all inspection documents and job cards for audit purposes.

5. Coordination With Department



Work closely with the service, sales, and stockyard teams. Communicate issues related to vehicle quality, defects, or shortages. Ensure smooth workflow between departments for timely delivery.

6. Quality & Compliance



Follow manufacturer standards, tools, and procedures. Ensure safety protocols are followed during vehicle handling. Conduct periodic audits of the PDI area and processes.

Skills & Qualifications



Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering (preferred). Good knowledge of vehicle systems and inspection parameters. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet delivery timelines. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, DMS, ERP).

Pay: ?9,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
