Key Responsibilities
Work on new product development / leather accessories collections, from concept to production
Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers specific to leather materials, trims, hardware etc.
Track costing, margins, negotiate prices with suppliers
Oversee sampling process, ensure sample quality, make adjustments & approvals
Liaise with production units / factories to ensure timely delivery and maintain quality standards
Monitor market trends, competitor products, and input into merchandising / assortment planning
Maintain product data, specifications, quality checks documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Good understanding of the
leather industry
-- materials, production processes, quality control
Experience: Either a fresher ready to learn or someone with up to 5-10 years in a similar role
Strong negotiation skills & vendor management
Good communication skills, attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
