The PCB Soldering Technician will be responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing printed circuit boards (PCBs) as per technical drawings and quality standards. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and experience with both through-hole and SMD components.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
soldering of SMD and Through-Hole components
on PCBs following industry standards (IPC-A-610 preferred).
Assemble PCB boards as per schematic diagrams, BOM, layout, and work instructions.
Inspect solder joints for quality and reliability; rework defective boards when needed.
Operate soldering tools such as soldering irons, hot-air guns, reflow machines, and microscopes.
Perform
SMD rework
, including fine-pitch ICs, QFN, BGA (if applicable), and other sensitive components.
Handle PCB cleaning, flux application, and ESD-safe practices.
Test completed PCB assemblies using multimeters, continuity testers, and basic test jigs.
Maintain documentation for assembly, rework, and testing.
Ensure compliance with safety, ESD protection, and quality control standards.
Coordinate with design, R&D, and production teams for smooth workflow.
