Job Description

Collaborate with the engineering team to understand design requirements and specifications.

Review and verify PCB schematics, layouts, and Gerber files against design specifications using Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Perform schematic reviews to identify design issues and suggest improvements.

Provide technical support to cross-functional teams throughout the PCB design process.

Conduct design verification and validation tests for functional and electrical integrity.

Troubleshoot and resolve any layout-related issues during the development and manufacturing stages.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in PCB layout design tools and techniques.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry guidelines.

Basic Knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis tools and techniques.

Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and assembly techniques.

Basic understanding of electronic components and their functionality.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

3-8 years of professional experience in QA checking activities, PCB layout engineering, with Strong knowledge of designing and implementing multi-layer printed circuit board layouts.

Knowledge in ATE boards like V93K, Ultraflex, Ultraflex Plus testers experience preferred.

Proficiency in utilizing Cadence Allegro tools, including PCB Editor and Constraint Manager is must.

Familiarity with high-speed design principles, impedance matching, and signal integrity concepts.

Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA) and design for testability (DFT).

Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and assembly techniques.

Basic Knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis tools and techniques.

Basic understanding of electronic components and their functionality.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
