We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced PCB Design & Fabrication Part Time Trainer to join our team. This role is essential for educating and mentoring individuals in the intricacies of PCB design, fabrication processes, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with various design tools and methodologies. Responsibilities

Develop and deliver training programs focused on PCB design and fabrication techniques. Provide hands-on instruction in the use of software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Simulink. Guide trainees through the principles of electrical systems, schematics, and signal processing. Facilitate discussions on advanced topics including FPGA design, SoC integration, and root cause analysis. Assist trainees in understanding manufacturing processes, including surface mount technology and programmable logic controllers. Evaluate trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure training content is relevant to current industry standards and practices. Maintain an organized training environment that promotes safety and effective learning.

Requirements

Proven experience in PCB design, fabrication, and related electrical engineering fields. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) and programming languages (Python, C++, Perl). Familiarity with debugging techniques, firmware development, and vision inspection systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to integrate mechanical engineering principles into training sessions. Experience with project scheduling and system design methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. A background in quantum engineering or experience with ARM architecture is a plus. Hands-on skills in soldering and familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
