Electrical or Electronics Engineering (EEE/ECE)
and strong proficiency in
manual and hot air soldering techniques
for both
SMD and through-hole components.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
re-soldering and rework
on faulty PCBs, including removal and replacement of defective components.
Handle
SMD, BGA, QFP, and through-hole components
with precision using soldering tools and hot air stations.
Inspect and identify soldering defects such as cold solder joints, bridges, and lifted pads.
Read and interpret circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and rework instructions.
Use tools such as
multimeters, magnifiers, and microscopes
for testing and inspection.
Maintain high-quality soldering work as per
IPC-A-610
and
IPC-7711/7721
standards.
Collaborate with QA and design teams to resolve recurring issues and suggest improvements.
Maintain proper documentation of rework and repair logs.
Adhere to
ESD protection, safety guidelines, and cleanroom protocols
.
