JOB DETAILS / ROLE PURPOSE:The P&C Regional controller" role is part of Finance Factory-Budget Support & Rebilling department and will be a part of the P&C specific dimensions team within.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for transactional Planning & Controlling activities incl too-based optimization, especially closing support (closely linked to accounting/FICO)
  • Responsible for quality checks and underlying processes on Planning & Controlling data as well basis tool-based automation, harmonization & optimized processing (e.g. P&L & expense checks in ECCS and GRP across dimensions and elements together with LOB P&C and cost controlling units)
  • Planning & Controlling transactional process streamlining aiming towards standard operating procedures with maximum automation & harmonization.
  • Variance analysis and standard BU & legal entity reporting.
  • Performing standard BU reporting (w/o comments)
  • Additionally, for the legal entities in scope:
  • Ensure and take care that the calculations are disclosed in high quality and accordance with group internal deadlines and eventual regulatory requirement.
  • Ensure the maintenance and the respect of internal controls and financiais procedures
  • Ensure a timely and proper execution of internal audits & closure of related findings, developing relevant controls, rules and guidelines to enhance governance and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure communication with other teams, with focus on the collaboration with team members of finance Factory, acting in a diligent and fair way in order to support the correct performance of the tasks in their area of responsibility and proactively encourage the resolution of the issues that can harm the value of the company.
  • Support P&C tribe leads and FDs with management and statutory reporting/analysis needed on a legal entity and subregional level
  • Provide continuity where needed to other Finance and non-Finance functions (UW, Sales, HR etc.) along with local specific analyses and processes that may be required. Deep dive on final GRP data and anticipate issues for next month closing.
  • Continued alignment with accounting even after books is closed to understand smaller accruals or to provide audit support etc.
