What you'll do

Provide technical support for users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to hardware and software. Troubleshoot software problems and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance. Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems like Windows and macOS. Administer network configurations, including TCP/IP settings, VPN connections, and firewall management. Utilize tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Active Directory for system management and user access control. Offer desktop support for mobile devices and assist with network administration tasks within a LAN environment. Maintain documentation of IT processes using platforms like ServiceNow or Jira for tracking issues and resolutions. Collaborate with team members to analyze IT infrastructure needs and recommend improvements.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with BMC Remedy for help desk ticketing processes. Knowledge of Linux operating systems and Microsoft Windows Server environments. Understanding of DNS (Domain Name System) configurations and network protocols such as TCP. Skills in using Meraki for network management solutions.
