Job Summary:

We are looking for a Payroll Officer with strong experience in payroll processing and in-depth knowledge of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Indian Labour Laws. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll and full statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time

Calculate salaries, wages, overtime, incentives, and deductions

Handle PF and ESI registration, calculations, challans, returns, and compliance

Ensure timely deposit of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory dues

Maintain compliance with applicable Labour Laws (Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, Leave, etc.)

Prepare and maintain payroll records, statutory registers, and reports

Handle audits, inspections, and compliance-related documentation

Address employee queries related to payroll, PF, ESI, and statutory benefits

Coordinate with HR, Accounts, and external consultants

Required Skills & Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of Payroll, PF, ESI, and Indian Labour Laws

Strong experience in statutory filings, returns, and compliance

Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification:

Master's in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field

Certification in Payroll / Labour Laws will be an added advantage

Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll and statutory compliance

Salary: Up to 30,000 Per Month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
