Core responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

Manage and oversee the entire payroll cycle, including salary processing, benefits, and deductions for all employees.

PF and ESIC Management:

Ensure accurate and timely calculation and deposit of employee and employer contributions for PF and ESIC.

File monthly returns for both PF and ESIC with the respective authorities.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including those pertaining to PF, ESIC, and TDS.

Prepare and submit monthly and annual statutory reports, including challans for PF and ESIC.

Audits and Inspections:

Assist with internal and external audits, and be the point of contact for inspections by PF and ESI authorities.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all payroll-related activities, especially for PF and ESIC.

Record Keeping and Reconciliation:

Maintain accurate employee records, update payroll data, and handle employee queries related to PF and ESIC.

Reconcile general ledger accounts related to payroll and statutory payments.

Team and Process Management:

Supervise and guide a payroll team, if applicable.

Continuously review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
