Position Overview



We are looking for a

Senior Executive - Payroll & Compliance

to manage payroll processing, statutory compliance, and related HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory regulations, and payroll systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities



Handle end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time

Ensure timely collection and validation of payroll inputs. Process salary calculations including deductions and allowances.

Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Bonus Act

Monitor monthly contributions and ensure timely deposit. Maintain compliance records for audits and inspections.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory guidelines

Stay updated with changes in labor and tax regulations. Implement necessary changes in payroll systems as per law.

Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and related payroll inputs

Collect attendance and leave data from the HRMS system. Verify accuracy of records before processing payroll.

Prepare and file statutory returns (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.) within deadlines

Generate reports and file online returns as per compliance norms. Maintain acknowledgment copies and challans for record-keeping.

Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and compliance

Respond promptly to employee payroll-related issues. Provide clarifications on statutory deductions and benefits.

Coordinate with finance for payroll disbursement

Share final payroll reports with the finance team. Ensure timely salary credit to employee accounts.

Assist in audits related to payroll and compliance

Prepare necessary documentation and reports for auditors. Coordinate with auditors for payroll-related queries.

Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes

Organize and archive payroll reports and compliance documents. Ensure easy retrieval of documents during audits or inspections.

Implement process improvements for payroll accuracy and compliance efficiency

Identify gaps in the current payroll process and suggest solutions. Implement automation and system updates for error-free processing.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Education:

Graduate in HR/Commerce; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Experience:

Minimum

3 years

in

Payroll & Compliance

in a manufacturing industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance. Hands-on experience in payroll software and MS Excel. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
