Position Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Payroll Specialist

to manage payroll processing for our healthcare staffing team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll for our healthcare professionals while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role involves handling payroll functions, benefits administration, and responding to employee payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:



Payroll Processing

: Accurately process payroll for all healthcare staff, including hourly and salaried employees.

Time and Attendance Management

: Ensure timesheets and attendance records are accurate and submitted on time.

Employee Inquiries

: Respond to payroll-related questions and concerns from employees, resolving discrepancies promptly.

Compliance and Reporting

: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including taxes, benefits, and other deductions.

Benefits Administration

: Oversee the proper deductions and enrollment processes for healthcare benefits, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

System Management

: Utilize payroll software to track and report compensation data, ensuring all records are accurate.

Tax Filings

: Prepare and submit payroll tax reports, ensuring all payroll taxes are correctly calculated and remitted to the appropriate authorities.

Record Keeping

: Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws.

Collaboration

: Work closely with Onboarding, accounting, and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and staffing levels

Qualifications:



Education

: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience

: At least 2-3 years of payroll experience, preferably in healthcare staffing or a related industry.

Skills

: Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Signature, or similar platforms). In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, deductions, and reporting requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and management.
