Payroll Specialist cum Statutory Compliance Executive - Fabrication Industry

Reporting To

HR Manager / Factory Head

Job Purpose

To handle end-to-end payroll processing and ensure 100% statutory compliance for permanent employees, contract workers, and shop-floor manpower in a fabrication / manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Wage Processing



Process monthly payroll for

factory staff, supervisors, engineers, and contract manpower

Calculate wages,

overtime, night shift allowance, incentives, deductions

, and arrears Manage

attendance, biometric data, and OT sheets

in coordination with production Ensure timely salary and wage disbursement Prepare and distribute payslips

Statutory & Labor Law Compliance



Handle

PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS

compliances for employees and contract workers Prepare and file statutory returns within due dates Ensure compliance with:

Factories Act, 1948

Contract Labour (R&A) Act

Payment of Wages Act

Minimum Wages Act

Payment of Bonus Act

Gratuity Act

Maintain statutory registers and records (physical & digital)

Contract Labour & Vendor Coordination



Coordinate with

contractors for manpower bills, attendance, and statutory proof

Verify contractor compliance documents (PF, ESI challans, wage sheets) Ensure compliance during

labor inspections and audits


Audits, Inspections & Liaison



Support internal, external, and statutory audits Handle labor department inspections and factory audits Respond to statutory notices and ensure timely closure

MIS & Reporting



Prepare payroll MIS, statutory reports, and cost analysis for management Support monthly manpower cost and overtime analysis Maintain employee master data and documentation
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

factory payroll & fabrication industry labor laws

Hands-on experience with

PF & ESI portals

Excellent

Excel skills

(attendance analysis, OT calculations, MIS) Experience with payroll software (Ex : SAP / greytHR / Zoho)
Qualification & Experience

BBA/MBA -HR,MSW

3-6 years

experience in

fabrication / manufacturing industry

Experience handling

contract labor & factory inspections

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
