Reporting locally to the Payroll Manager this role is part of the Payroll Team are based across UK, Portugal, Malta and India. The payroll team is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll operation for several countries around the world and will now take on responsibility for Payroll in India. This is a new team and will grow overtime as our business also grows in Hyderabad.This role performs the role of a Payroll Officer and as a senior specialist they also ensure compliance with legal and regulatory responsibilities. Tracking and managing Audit actions ensuring working documents and policies are up-to-date. Flutter Entertainment is subject to SOX regulation and this role will be critical ensuring readiness for changes including training team on key responsibilities and processes. The role will also take responsibility for sensitive and confidential activities such as Non-Exec Director (NED) requests and Gender Pay-Gap reporting.Key Responsibilities

• Support with the regular responsibilities of a Payroll Officer
• Responsible for managing payroll related audit activities including tracking, reporting and ensuring delivery
• Ensure all policies and processes are documented and up-to-date for all payrolls delivered by HR Operations across UK, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Malta and India.
• Support with training team to comply with process and legislation
• Support specific confidential requests such as Non-Executive Director (NED) requests
• Support with sensitive reporting requests such as Gender Pay-Gap
• Work with other key departments such as Compliance, DPO and SOX teams to ensure readiness for changes
• Support with escalations as a SME
• Keep up-to-date with changes to requirements for compliance in Payroll.

• Significant experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or Payroll Specialist
• Hands-on experience with Payroll and HRIS software
• Knowledge of managing payroll in a regulated environment
• Experience of working in a SOX regulated business
• Good knowledge of regulations and tax requirements
• Attention to detail
• Time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Strong customer service and can-do approach
