We are looking for a detail-oriented
HR Payroll Assistant
to support payroll processing, employee data management, and HR documentation. The ideal candidate must have strong mathematical skills, good analytical ability, and practical experience in payroll operations for a workforce of
500 or more employees
.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong
mathematical and analytical skills
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP, IF, Pivot Table, etc.).
Knowledge of payroll statutory laws (PF, ESI, PT, LWF preferred).
Experience in handling payroll for
large workforce (500+ employees)
.
Good communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in end-to-end
monthly payroll processing
(attendance, OT, deductions, incentives, etc.).
Maintain and update
employee master data
in HRMS/ERP.
Validate attendance, leave records, shift details, and timesheets.
Perform salary calculations, including
PF, ESI, LOP, bonus, gratuity
and other statutory components.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of payroll reports.
Use
for payroll data analysis.
Coordinate with various departments to collect and verify payroll inputs.
Support statutory compliance documentation and audits.
Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, and payslips.
Prepare MIS reports for HR and management when required.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
